ED 800: Concepts of Educational Inquiry

ED 800 deals with concepts of inquiry throughout education and how I can implement it into my classroom. This course dealt with the fact that if a student learns through inquiry that they will have an appreciation for their work and take ownership for what they are learning.

TE 846 focuses on literacy and how each student learns in a different way. We learned many teaching methods that could help our struggling readers with reading and writing.

The lesson uses some of the methods that I learned from this course to help these students become successful in an area where they were not achieving in.

CEP 815 discussed many forms of technology that can be used inside and outside of the classroom. We had practice creating posters, using Prezi, writing tweets for Twitter and many others. The final project had use find an area in our current position that we could infuse technology into to help with a current problem.

TE 831 gives some unique forms of technology that can be used within a classroom. Some of the projects that we completed were creating a Wordle, creating and embedding a video and creating a lesson plan that takes a common piece of technology and incorporating it into the classroom.
If you click on the Wordle above it will lead you to my Re-Purposing Lesson Plan. This lesson involved picking a form of technology that might be used everyday and re-purpose it to use in the classroom. My choice was using an i-Pad for reading and fluency.
